Sir Winston Churchill Secondary in Vancouver is a public high school that offers both International Baccalaureate and French Immersion programs. It is located on Heather Street near Oak Street, close to Langara College and Oakridge Centre. Sir Winston Churchill has about 2000 students and is named after the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Winston Churchill. The school has a variety of academic and extracurricular programs, including Advanced Placement (AP), Career Programs, Athletics, and Visual and Performing Arts. Sir Winston Churchill also has a student newspaper, a student government, and a parent advisory council. The school mascot is a bulldog and the school colours are red, blue and white.
