Eric Hamber Secondary in Vancouver is a public high school that offers both Challenge Studio and Mandarin Bilingual programs. It is located on Willow Street near Oak Street, close to Langara College and Queen Elizabeth Park. Eric Hamber has about 1400 students and is named after Eric Hamber, former Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. The school has a variety of academic and extracurricular programs, including Advanced Placement (AP), Career Programs, Athletics, and Visual and Performing Arts. Eric Hamber also has a student newspaper, a student government, and a parent advisory council. The school mascot is a griffin and the school colours are maroon and light blue.
